Andrea has an educational background in Statistics (PhD), Quantitative Finance (MSc) and Economics, with a 12+ years professional experience in Financial Pricing and Valuation, Econometrics, Data Modeling and Project Management. He's currently in charge of the Counterparty Valuation Adjustment Desk at MPS Capital Services (Italy) and he supports innovative companies since 2012 through the nonprofit organization Startup Saturday Europe. He's enrolled in the Master in Big Data Analytics and Social Mining because he strongly believes that keeping or gaining a competitive advantage in any business today means being able to exploit all the available information coming from enterprise databases, information providers, customers/competitors behavior, trends and conversations.
