I grew up in La Spezia (Liguria) where I was born in 1987. After obtaining my high school diploma, specializing in the classics, and achieving a three-year bachelor’s degree in Economics and Social Sciences at Bocconi University in Milan, I enrolled in a Master’s degree in Statistics for Economics. This choice gave me the opportunity to deepen my studies in quantitative subjects, which are the basic tools for understanding socio-economics. In March 2014, I graduated with a thesis entitled ‘Crisis: Economic Resilience and New Political Strategies in Italy.’ Upon graduation, after a brief work experience in DELOITTE, in which I was involved in a Business Intelligence project for SKY Italy, I had the opportunity of working as a member of staff in the Mayor’s office in Monterosso al Mare. During this experience, I was also directly involved with communication tasks and cultural initiatives. Enrolling in this second level master’s degree in ‘Big Data Analytics and Social Mining’ I would like to get closer to the field of my studies in order to expand my skills and explore new career possibilities in the Data Analysis Sector. |

I graduated in philosophy in November 2018 at the University of Roma Tre with a thesis on the role of probability in the interpretation of Quantum Mechanics. My interests in philosophy have always been at the limits of the physical and mathematical sciences. In particular, I have been interested in probability theory, interpretation of physical theories, logic and philosophy of logic. After these years of studying philosophy, I decided to deepen the quantitative aspect of my interests. In particular, I have tried to build a good base of analysis and geometry and I have further deepened some aspects of mathematical logic. During this period I discovered the world of Big Data and Machine Learning and so I decided to enroll in the master offered by the University of Pisa, where I am learning its methods. The construction of predictive models and the use of other techniques learned are now my passion. My desire is to work in a company in the sector to deal with Data Science full time. |
